Established in 2001, The Belize Academy of Diving is a full service PADI dive center based at Mexico Rocks seven miles north of San Pedro on Ambergris Caye, the most popular dive destination in Belize.
We specialise in dive training and tours to the un-crowded, pristine dive sites of our local barrier reef. We also run snorkeling trips for your non-diving friends and family.
We offer complimentary pick-up and drop-off for guests of nearby resorts, or a dive package including transfers and lunch if you want to join us from San Pedro Town.
As a specialist dive operator with full-time PADI professionals, we don't offer fishing or trips to the mainland, but we can arrange these on your behalf.
As well as diving the local barrier reef, don't miss:
- snorkeling at Hol Chan and Shark Ray Alley
- diving the famous Blue Hole at Lighthouse Reef
Don't be put off by our serious name. We chose it
mainly so that we could be known as BAD for short! Whatever
trips you choose to do with us, we aim to ensure
that your experience is anything but.
More and more people are hearing about all that Belize has to offer and visitor numbers are on the increase. We feel that part of the charm of San Pedro is the small, laid back, intimate atmosphere of the resorts and tour companies. We are proud to be a small business offering you good, safe diving, where everybody knows your name and you are treated like friends.
