A New Chapter

Craig and Tracey set up The Belize Academy of Diving from scratch in 2001 and turned it into one of the most popular dive shops on Ambergris Caye. Over the years many of the thousands of people they taught to dive have become good personal friends.
So it is with mixed feelings that they bid farewell to Belize and move on to new challenges. They would like to thank each and every one of you that chose to visit their dive shop over the past 9 years. You helped to turn it into the fun, friendly place that it is today and without you there would be no BAD.
In their place, we welcome Francois Gauthier, the new BAD Boy at the dive shop. Francois is a PADI Instructor from Montreal, Canada, who has left the cold behind him and moved to San Pedro to embrace the dive lifestyle without the need to wear 6 layers of clothing and a dry suit. He is very much looking forward to meeting our many return guests as well as teaching new divers in the lovely, warm Caribbean Sea.
So it's goodbye from Craig and Tracey as they leave you in the capable hands of Francois. Along with Gio and Kirk he will continue the BAD tradition of great dive instruction in a safe and fun environment.
